What the CALM Life Skills Seminar Participants Say.JW, NSW.This year has been full of frustration and pain but since attending your seminar I am more positive, have more control of the pain level in my legs and I am sure I am much nicer to be around as a result. I don't think anything will equal the thrill I received when I realised I had walked properly up the stairs at the conference centre on Sunday morning - the first time in the 3 years since my accident! I am also amazed that I spent two days 9am to 6pm and left each day refreshed, not jaded. This alone speaks of the benefit I received and continue to receive from your wonderful methods. I would like to express to you also the wonderful "feeling" at the Seminar. I think my husband summed it up when he said ... "everyone had a lovely smile for me each evening as they left, it must have been good in there." Thank you Sandy, I feel I have a new start to my life. KB, Tasmania.Before attending your CALM Seminar I was smoking maybe 10-15 cigarettes a day. I was living on a lot of nervous energy as you can imagine. I never felt comfortable with myself or my life, to speak truthfully. Since attending your seminar, this may surprise you, I've no desire to have a cigarette. My life now is going through the best cycle I've ever known. I've met wonderful friends, I've never been comfortable before with myself and my life. I'm relaxing better, eating better and living better than I ever have. I've finally found a part of my self worth and I thank you. BL, Victoria.Three weeks before I attended Sandy's seminar I was diagnosed as having "severe sleep apnoea" and by the time the seminar came around I was exhausted. I built my PP on the Saturday and used it to relax me that night and told myself "Tonight I sleep well and wake refreshed in the morning" AND I DID! I also use my PP to help with poor self esteem and have given two public addressed on arthritis which I never thought I'd do, and I am also working on weight release and have lost 3 kg in 3 weeks. Before lunch, on Day 2 of the seminar, I experienced the well known migraine aura, which indicated 40 minutes to prepare for an elongated stint in the darkness of the bedroom. Panic! Followed by .... why am I here? Working quietly alone, ignoring all seminar activity, I succeeded in ridding myself of the pain and sickness, using Sandy's technique to direct and focus the power of the subconscious mind. I was then able to continue with the seminar. I had never managed this before! I still do this 2 years later. SJ, NSW.Sandy, I want to thank you for the terrific seminar. What particularly struck me after seeing and using your material was how user friendly it was. You provided the tools, the how to, in a simple way which helps to make it easier to implement as part of your daily life, to feel and live the difference. In addition you are so accessible, supportive and encouraging welcoming ongoing contact to help continue the momentum that has been created. I hope you enjoy this feedback, and get fulfilment from knowing how you continue to impact in such a positive way on the lives of others, and the ripples extend wider and wider. Thank you Sandy! R M, NSW.My husband and I wanted to thank you for the opportunity to learn so much at the Life Skills Seminar. It was everything I had hoped for and more. The fact that my husband released an old torment that had been festering inside for many years is a credit to your ability to express the techniques in simple terms (that even left-brainers can grasp) in a non-threatening and non-judgemental atmosphere. I quite surprised myself during a meditation when some old childhood stuff surfaced as anger, and I realised I had not fully dealt with some of the issues that I thought, mistakenly, had been laid to rest. I am now working on it. In fact we have both been working on our PP and various goals and although early, the results are beginning to show. I would recommend anyone young or old to do the CALM Life Skills Seminar the secrets of the Ages have been lost for too long. IC, NSW.I have now convinced myself that I have the power to control my level of nervousness with PP relaxation and subconscious input. I am approaching my task of caring for my wife in a calmer more orderly manner. The big gain is for my wife to hear your tapes, as she can read very little, she is now enthusiastic to put on the headphones and listen to your guided imagery tapes. Many aspects of control of my life are more apparent. My religious and spiritual values do not conflict with your therapy. Even when we know a correct path to follow we are lazy and dodge it, expecting things to right themselves without conscious effort. Effort is needed, perseverance to complete the task, linked with a self confidence, to improve our quality of life. Thanks again for your guidance it is working well for both of us. MS, QLD.I want you to know how much I enjoyed your seminar. I have been following your work for 5 years now and there have been moments when Ive been tempted to pick up the phone. Because I have always learned best from reading, I doubted the value of attending a seminar although I developed a great respect for your work. I arrived tired and reluctant. I was half wishing that Id booked a massage instead. By the end of the day I was relaxed and energised. By the end of the weekend I had worked out persistent problems with my PP and for the first time in my life I had really taken on board the concept of negative self-talk. I particularly enjoyed the discussion on unconditional loving; it has given me the strength to believe in myself when significant others mock my concepts of loving.
