As you may know I am the Honorary Colonel of the University of New South Wales Regiment (UNSWR) which I commanded from Feb 1978 to Feb 1981. Being the Honorary Colonel means that I am like the Grand-Father of the Regiment. As such I am called upon to officiate in various ways from time to time. I was called upon to give the Toast To The Regiment at the annual UNSWR Regimental Dinner on 4 Dec 2009.

26 August 2014 Introduction Colonel (retired) Sandy MacGregor was invited to attend as a DV (Distinguished Visitor) to address and take part in the US Army's 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) Training Program on the topic of Resilience.
