If you were a sailing ship at sea and didn´t have your sails set, and the wind blew … where would you end up? Wherever the wind blew of course. However if you set your sails by applying effective goal setting, you can go to any destination you wish, even if it is against the wind.

What type of Affirmations are there?
Affirmations are good, positive self-talk, done in the conscious mind. You could do an affirmation as you drive down the road in a car, however you can not do this with a goal.
Is Positive affirmation the same thing as Goal Setting?
No. However you can change an affirmation into a goal. Goals are done in the subconscious mind, which means you need to be in the Alpha brainwave state, and then use Emotion for the memory component of the goal. You use visualisation and guided imagery.
How do I set goals for my career?
You use Positive, Person and Present Tense language - these are the laws of the subconscious mind. You must have written goals and the writing of the goal is extremely important.
