Hi, I can get to Alpha in about 7-10 seconds and I’m getting quicker. I relaxed in all my exams and went very well. I use Alpha when I do exams, when I go to sleep, when I get frustrated and when I get angry at me or someone else. I also use it when I’m thinking. I use alpha sitting on my bed or lying on my bed and sitting at my desk or at school.
P.S. I have a goal to save heaps of money and to go really well in the Athletics carnival and to keep playing my saxophone and get in the band.
Ever since I came to you my baseball and drama has improved dramatically. In baseball I’ve been hitting a lot better and in drama I got an A for a play I did. My self confidence has also improved and I got on student council at school.
My 6 year old daughter had to do a big maths test soon after the Children's Seminar, which consisted of 100 addition and subtraction sums to be completed in a certain time-frame. She went to her PP several times earlier on that day as well as the day before and saw herself doing the test quickly and correctly. She was delighted when she finished the test in 12 minutes and scored 99% correct - only one mistake! She had been a little concerned about being able to do the test quickly enough, so going to her PP really helped.
I got almost as much out of the Children's Seminar as my child did. You have boosted my confidence and given me new tools to use in my professional career. I ended up feeling more relaxed the Monday after the Seminar than after any other weekend ever. I had not realised how much I was letting stress rule my life and bring down my health. And as for my child - since the seminar the improvement has been enormous and he is now a delight to live with.
Sandy, I would like to say thank you for your contagious enthusiasm at the Children's Seminar and for the confidence it has given my daughter in finding her Peaceful Place, especially in going to sleep.
My daughter attended your Childrens Seminar and since then she has been integrating the PP technique (relaxation and visualisation) into her everyday life - especially during performances and competitions. This year she gained 3rd place, highly commended in her Ballet Eisteddfod and also, she succeeded in the gymnastics competition at her school. Thought you'd like to know.
Doing your Children’s Seminar helped me so much with all kinds of things! I practise my PP about 10 times a day - when I first started it was 15-20 times a day. I can now do the PP anywhere, noisy or quiet. I use it for academic purposes, sport, and any other ordinary things such as getting to sleep or hiccups. My first goals were for swimming. I used PP in school competitions and furthered my participation to the finals at Regional to which I have never got before. I then continued to set other goals - this time for scholarship tests to High School. The PP and my ability gained me 4 scholarships! I was (and am) overjoyed! Still I set goals and this time in Cross Country and Athletics. I achieved 7th place at District for 3 km and 1st place in 800 metres athletics and gained 3rd place in long jump. Thank you so much for your course! I would recommend it to anyone.
My son enjoyed the Children's Seminar very much and I feel he took a lot of notice of what you had to offer. He is a more mature and responsible young person as he starts high school.
Thank you for teaching me my Peaceful Place and all about the subconscious and how to use it. Learning these skills have helped me in many ways.... with my headaches, learning my times tables, remembering, sleeping and many more. I can go to my Peaceful Place very quickly.
I visit my PP 20, and sometimes only 10 times a day, and I visit my PP when I’m in the shower, before sport, my test for school, when I’m doing my homework, and when I’m in the toilet. I also use the exercises we did in the seminar every morning when I wake up. Also thank you for sending me my badge. Well, I guess I have to finish my letter now, see you next time.
Thank you for the birthday card. Lately I have been achieving a lot of things. Things still to come are my Flute Audition for concert Band and ‘catching school’ for softball. Things that have already happened are: in Brownies I have become a sixer, this week I got a certificate for being a class asset. In an assignment I got an A+, I beat my best friend twice in three days and she normally gets better marks than me. And at my first Eisteddfod we were highly recommended. Lately I have fallen over a few times but now I am recovering. I had better be going now because I’m off to a disco.
From a child who only came to the Children’s Seminar “because my mother forced me to”: I am writing to thank you for helping me. Ever since I came to you, my baseball and drama have improved dramatically, in baseball I’ve been hitting a lot better and in drama I got an A for a play I did. My self confidence has also improved and I got on Student Council at school.
How can I use your techniques to help my child who wets the bed
Staying dry at night can be a challenge. One of the main things is not to draw attention to it excessively - especially by using negative language. Always use encouraging language, particularly when the bed is dry ... say "Well done, that's great".
It is also a good idea to work with a goal with your child. The goal could be something like "I enjoy waking up being dry as my bladder gets stronger and stronger", and "When I get the urge to urinate I confidently wake up and go to the toilet". It's important that visualisation is done with the goal as well, and it can be done just as your child goes to bed. You can say it to your child as they're asleep too - it's amazing what they hear.
