What is the Subconscious Mind?
The subconscious mind is the deeper, inner mind. It deals with all our memory, all our habits, all our personality and all our self image - that´s 88% of the mind. What are the Features of the Subconscious Mind?
The subconscious mind is like our Comfort Zone. Whenever you step out of your Comfort Zone you will feel uncomfortable, stressed, perhaps fearful. When you have formed a habit, the subconscious mind is the one that keeps it there. The subconscious mind wants what it´s got and therefore it repeats all the habits that we already have. These habits could be … self confidence, being positive, optimistic, or they could be negative, claustrophobic, having a fear of flying - in other words, they could be positive or negative. The subconscious mind does not judge - it wants what it´s already got, and it endeavours to prevent you achieving other things that it has not yet got, by using sabotage (negative self talk). We are not taught how to use the subconscious mind in everyday life, and this is what CALM teaches.
